Lion Head Bunny Rabbit Groomer - pet services: dog walking, sitting, boarding & training

Hi, I'm Frankie Pritchard, Bay area bunny groomer and pet sitter. I have specialized experience grooming Lion Head bunnies since pet sitting and grooming many Lion Heads for the past 5 years. These bunnies are prone to mats and tangled fur because of their long fine hair. Many are "double mane" with extra hair around their heads, causing hay to get caught in fur and painful mats to form between their ears. I use rounded end childrens scissors to trim mats, including long hair around their eyes which can cause difficulty seeing. I charge $40 for major trimming. This fee includes nail trims and scent gland cleaning.

If you have a Lion Head bonded pair, I wear disposable gloves to minimize my scent on them when reunited after grooming.

I am an independent contractor and do not work for a pet sitting organization. I am a long time Sunday volunteer rabbit and guinea pig groomer at RabbitEARS non profit small animal rescue in Oakland, and am on the Board of Directors. The CEO can give a character reference, and Lion Head clients can give reviews on request.

I travel throughout the Bay area and charge $20-$40 for travel (no charge for Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany and Emeryville). I am available by appt. Tuesday - Friday noon - 6:00 p.m.

If your Lion Head eats TIMOTHY HAY, I wear disposable gloves and groom in a non-hay area as I am EXTREMELY ALLERGIC TO TIMOTHY. Please wipe your bunny down with a damp washcloth prior to your appointment if they eat Timothy. I need a one week appointment notice if possible and a description or photo of your bunny/bunnies.
